The Coves at Tahoe

Despite the cost of gas...we decided to take our first trip up to the northeast corner of Lake Tahoe, which is actually in Nevada, not California. It is our favorite destination on the lake. The round trip is approximately 40 miles. The shoreline is composed of sandy coves...surrounded by boulders. Finn often spends the better part of his time climbing the huge boulders, which makes his mom quite nervous. This location is also home to many sunbathing nudists...only in Nevada! As always...I included pictures from our weekend adventure!

Just beautiful! I know I say that in all my comments on here! Looks like Greg was joining the nudists in the picture with Fin?!:)

It really is beautiful out here...can't wait to share it with you!

As for Greg's participation in nudity...I'm afraid it's only a method to hide his "six-pack". However, you did make him laugh!

Hm, I tried to add this comment a few days ago and it apparently didn't "take." 2nd try. Ahem...

I'm more impressed all the time by your photos, Wendy. You really capture a sense of the boys' characters. Well, and Greg's, although I suppose that can't be helped.

That last photo of the sunset is really amazing - like something out of 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Maybe someday I'll come see it all and y'all in person.

Of course, you're welcome at anytime to experience the boys "character" in person...but glad you're getting to know them through pictures!

The last photo is actually the moon, not sun. Although a cool effect, it was not exactly what I was hoping to capture. Think the "flare/rays" effect was from the filter I have on the lens...waiting for another picture perfect moment to try it again... without the filter this time...

Hope all is well in NYC! W
