In late May, Grandma and Grandpa Rosencrans came for a visit! They arrived to unseasonal temperatures of over a 100 degrees! So we headed to Tahoe to cool off. Although sunny and 82 degrees in Tahoe, the water temperature was anything but warm. I'm guessing in the 50's? Still, an amazing day in the mountains and on the lake! In fact, I think Dad will tell you it's his favorite place to visit in California...The unseasonal weather & temperatures continued as we headed to Yosemite! The first day was picturesque with near perfect weather. However, the following day gave us rain, clouds and snow!! Yes, snow! Oh well, it did not stop the fun and sight seeing!
Unfortunately, the remainder of their vacation was unseasonably cool ...so we spent the later part of their vacation close to home, which allowed them to spend some quality time with the boys! We look forward to their visit next year!
