Jake's Wild Animal Party!

This past weekend...the boys attended their friend Jake's birthday party! Jake had a special guest who brought numerous wild creatures to touch and look at! Although they were all very interesting...I think the snake was the biggest hit! Here are some pictures of the boys enjoying the party...

Next weekend, the Wells Family is back on the road...we will be headed to Death Valley!!

McCloud-Mt Shasta with the Falca's

This past weekend, we spent time with our friends the Falca's. They have a house in McCloud, which is about four hours north of Sacramento and close to Mt Shasta. On Saturday, we took the kids to Mt Shasta for a day of skiing...except Chet, he hung out with mom in the lodge. On Sunday, we were pleasantly surprised to see about 6 inches of fresh snow. The kids were ecstatic...so they spent the morning sledding, building snowmen, and of course...throwing a few snowballs! Although we had fun playing in the snow...we decided that we do not miss living in it!

Tahoe Skiing

Yesterday, Greg and I had a ski date in Tahoe while the boys were attending school! We skied Sierra at Tahoe, which is about an hour from our home. The weather was perfect...sunny and low 50's. At the summit...there are beautiful views of Lake Tahoe as well as vista's of the Sierras. We hope to make it up a few more times before the resort closes for the season...



Other news...


We put Chet through an intense potty training "party" last weekend...he has done amazing!


Two weeks ago...Finn came down with Strep...which led to an absess that required surgery to drain it. He was great throughout the surgical process and recovered quickly!


We are excited that sunny days and warmer temps are back in the forecast...we have some great weekend adventures planned! Next week...McCloud and skiing Mt Shasta with the Falcas!
